We´ve All Got Choices, We´ve All Got Voices

Thinking of all the people you know and trying to figure out which of them would be able to stand up for you if needed. Ending up with two fingers up. One of them representing your mother.

How many times has there been a situation in which friends answer "yeah" to an "I don´t know what´s up with her/him but it´s definitely not my fault".
Even if it were your fault, "yeah" is not a strong explanation to the reason why you agree. And if there´s supposed to be this strong friendship between you and them, then the least we deserve is a well supported explanation. Because fairness and friendship can go together.
But fitting in is important. And not creating tense situations is also very important.

You can´t force them to defend you but sometimes you wish they did, because doing so at the right time might just prove that we are worth it. And we all want to be worth it.

Ps: moms rule. Go make her some breakfast and stop reading this you dummy.
